Every time I go to the Splendide Lugano, I take pictures in the newly renovated Spa and end up having too many. Is it the natural light, photoshopping everything in sight? Or the beauty of the crystal chandeliers over the pool, mirrored in the water that also reflects the lake and blue sky? Or is it the classic building and its breath taking view? Is it the turquoise water of lake Lugano? Whatever the case, this hotel is a gem in the Italian part of Switzerland.
