Never before I saw such a predominance of one collection above the others during a fashion week, like in London. Ok, Victoria Beckham and Mary Katrantzou both celebrated their 10th anniversary in style and presented strong collections. But it was Burberry that stood out. An Italian designer, Riccardo Tisci, at the head of a British Empire? Sure, and he used all things English. The result is an elegant collection featuring classic Burberry pieces with a touch of Italian glamour.
